1. Scope of services
COGNEXOR (“the Firm”) provides reputational intelligence, open-source investigations and advisory services to individuals, family offices, legal counsel and institutional clients.
Engagements are scoped privately and governed by written terms agreed between the Firm and the Client. The $19 USD Reputational Intelligence Brief is delivered as an automated, one-time deliverable and does not constitute an advisory mandate.
2. Acceptable use
The Client agrees to use deliverables for lawful purposes consistent with the agreed jurisdiction and case sensitivity. Deliverables may not be redistributed, resold or used to harass, defame or unlawfully surveil any natural person.
3. Confidentiality
All exchanges between the Firm and the Client are handled discreetly. Mandates are governed by an NDA from first contact and handled on a compartmented, need-to-know basis.
4. Payment and refunds
Automated deliverables are non-refundable once generated. Mandate fees are governed by the engagement letter executed between the parties.
5. Liability
Findings reflect intelligence available at the time of analysis from open and lawfully accessible sources. The Firm does not guarantee outcomes and disclaims liability for decisions taken by the Client on the basis of any deliverable, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
6. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the agreed jurisdiction set out in the engagement letter. Disputes shall be resolved through confidential arbitration where permitted.
